Mr. Trump’s corrosive approach is disfiguring America’s democracy, to Britain’s deficit. In a sane world, Anthony Scaramucci would have already been kicked to the kerb and the Guinness Book of World Records would have a new answer to the question of “shortest tenure as White House Communications Director”.
Every utterance in Scaramucci’s has-to-be-read-to-be-believed (and even then) "interview" with The New Yorker’s Ryan Lizza is a firing offence. It is a political acid attack, meant to maim and disfigure. Had I said something similar during my five years Stephen Harper’s spokesman I would have been strung up by my superiors.
